Professional Background

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Luz Delgadillo is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in the vacation rental industry. With a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the business, Luz has built a reputation for operational excellence and a deep commitment to homeowner relationships.

Before joining Meredith Lodging, Luz honed her expertise at Oranj Palm, where she worked starting in 2009. Her last role as Director of Homeowner Experience allowed her to focus on improving customer satisfaction and building lasting partnerships with property owners as well as advocate on their behalf.  During her tenure, Luz volunteered her time for "We Love Palm Springs - Vote NO on Measure C," the 2018 ballot initiative to ban Palm Springs vacation rentals, which was defeated by a 70-30% margin. This experience laid a strong foundation for her work at Meredith Lodging, where she now serves as Vice President of Operations for California. In this capacity, Luz manages the company’s operations in three key locations—Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Big Bear—overseeing over 250 vacation rentals across the region.

Luz’s love for travel fuels her personal and professional growth. Each year, she seeks out new destinations, making a conscious effort to explore a different country, which broadens her understanding of diverse cultures and global hospitality trends.

When she’s not working, Luz is a dedicated family member and a passionate volunteer. She spends quality time with her family and actively contributes to her local church community, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact in both her personal and professional life.
