Mike Paonessa joined the VRON Board in March, 2024.

Mike has been a member of VRON since its founding in 2017 and has self-managed his vacation rental since 2012, first a single-family home in the Deepwell neighborhood, and currently a condo in the Barristo neighborhood. Since 2017, Mike has been an advocate and caretaker for other self-managed VR owners in Palm Springs.

In his spare time, Mike gives walking tours and bike tours of Palm Springs through the Palm Springs Historical Society.

Before moving to the desert full time, Mike was in residential real estate sales in Chicago. Prior to that, he was a merchandise manager with Amazon overseeing their Housewares division.
