Michael Valeo is the owner of Altamira Vacation Rentals, one of the top boutique vacation rental companies in Palm Springs, and a licensed California real estate broker. A native of Los Angeles, Valeo earned his degree from Brown University in Rhode Island. After graduating, he returned to Southern California and began a career in the entertainment industry. At 27 he started his own talent management and production company, which he built into one of the premiere boutique companies in the business. In 2013 he sold that company and moved to Palm Springs, where he focused his business acumen and passion for real estate into a new venture by starting a vacation rental management company.

Valeo has been a member of VRON since its inception and worked closely with the founders and board members during the Measure C campaign. He has watched VRON take on and tackle some of the big issues facing the vacation rental community in Palm Springs, and is excited by the idea of jumping in and helping the organization continue its important work.
